Sportube transport cases. A unique "hard case" for protecting your equipment.

Sportube transport cases. A unique "hard case" for protecting your equipment.

We know transport cases for sports equipment primarily in fabric versions of various sizes and thicknesses. Sportube cases are made of 100% recycled plastic, more precisely of high-density polyethylene, and therefore extremely durable, strong, and at the same time light. You can clip them to the roof of your car, transport them by train or plane. Their content is maximally protected. The proud manufacturer of these accessories is an American company headquartered in the Rocky Mountains, in Avon, Colorado, but they are manufactured in Michigan. From there they come to the European market to satisfy the needs of even the most demanding lovers of diving, fishing, hunting, sailing, fencing, skiing, water skiing and the like.

All Sportube cases are the same, they differ only in size. After the great success in 1996, when the hard plastic Sportube Series 1 and Series 2 were launched, the Sportube Series 3 case is now available, and also the most requested. It is available in two colors - orange and black.

Let's take a closer look at the individual parts of the case. The hard plastic body is resistant to damage and offers maximum protection compared to a plastic case. There is additional padding on both ends of the body to ensure even greater protection. In addition to the soft foam padding, two velcro straps are integrated inside. This way, when packing your skis, you can strap each pair to the inside of the case, so your skis are positioned as tightly as possible with zero room for unwanted movement during transport, while keeping the skis, bindings and edges from touching each other.

Each Sportube case is equipped with durable rubber wheels with steel bearings for smooth rolling and comfortable handling. The case is telescopic and its size can thus be adapted to the size of the transported equipment. The ergonomic plastic handle is systematically placed in the ergonomic part of the body so that lifting and carrying it is as easy as possible. On the front of the case there is also a handle with a carabiner, thanks to which you can comfortably pull the case behind you on the already mentioned rubber wheels.

Optionally available for additional purchase is a shoulder strap that can be attached to the case and avoid pulling if required. And the icing on the cake is the security code lock.

Sportube packs have no external buckles, zippers or permanently attached straps that could tear or break. Interesting information for you may be that some airlines take responsibility for the transport only of skis and snowboards packed in a rigid package; they may require a signed disclaimer for equipment packaged in a soft case.
