The award-winning WeeRide Safe Front child bike seats are the most fun seats on the market. That's because WeeRide seats don't actually mount to the front of the bike's handlebars like other front seats, but rather mount to the center of the bike on a support bracket.

We believe that seats mounted forward on the handlebar frame transfer the child's entire weight to the front wheel, which means that the bike is more difficult to maneuver, with uneven terrain being transmitted directly through the front axle of the bike to its handlebars and then to the child sitting in it. And most importantly, they are not safe if you need to stop quickly.

Rear seats, although more robust, interfere with the stability of the bike while riding and are not as much fun for your child, who is staring at your back and cannot communicate with you.

Our patented, separate carrier bracket mount transfers your child's weight through 2 points (the head and saddle of the bike frame) to the center of the bike, keeping your child safely in your arms and protected by your arms. This means you can use the WeeRide child seat from a very young age, earlier than any other child seat on a bike.

If the frame of your bicycle is too wide in the head section under the handlebars and does not allow the mounting of the bicycle seat bracket directly on the frame, you can purchase a STEM adapter (see accessories), which replaces the spacer under the handlebar stem and allows for trouble-free installation of the seat. The seat is designed for children aged 9 months to 4 years and weighing up to 15 kg according to the standards. However, our own laboratory tests have shown the safe use of the WeeRide seat up to a child weighing 23 kg. So weight will not be an issue, as long as the child's height is enough and this will be the case as they grow, usually around 3-4 years.

Yes, the seat will fit your bike in a standard way if the bike frame for attaching the support bracket in the head section under the handlebars has a width of max. 45 mm and a height of min. 5 mm. If the frame of your bike is wider than 45 mm at the front, or this frame section does not offer enough space to attach the support bracket (min. 5 mm), you will probably need a STEM adapter, which is available from us. This STEM adapter replaces the handlebar spacer and allows for trouble-free mounting of the seat on your bike. The adapter is included in the PLATINUM variant.
